CHRONICLE BOOKS RETAIL STORE
Retail Prototype Design
This is a prototype design for a publishing company that is intended for roll-out in various markets nationwide. The store is a kind of super-flexible “deconstructed bookshelf” that facilitates the creative display of not only books but also a wide variety of collateral products that the company intends to sell.
Pre-Fab System
Conceived as an entirely custom and proprietary pre-fabricated merchandising system, the various elements (wall panels, display cubes, graphic panels, display tables, and cashwrap) are all CNC-fabricated for maximum precision and economy. All materials and finishes are selected for their aesthetic qualities and cost-effectiveness, as well as their long-term durability and sustainability.
