HQ-1532 HARRISON
Western SOMA, San Francisco, CA
This 136-unit, mixed-use, rental apartment building in the diverse Western SOMA neighborhood is on a site formerly used as a surface parking lot.
With its weathering steel facade and lushly landscaped garden laneways the project will complement a neighborhood of healthy contrast and diversity ranging from bars, clubs, and restaurants, to active light-industry, and whole-sale grocery.
Diverse Neighborhood
The project consists of three 7-story buildings separated by two 25-foot wide laneway gardens sitting above an underground garage, containing 68 automobiles and 136 bicycle parking spaces, and a sizable corner commercial space. The project also includes extensive “public realm/shared street” improvements in order to create the new Eagle Plaza within the 12th Street right-of-way.
